To treat a community that has many unique cultural traits and a complex history that involves a genocide, knowledge is key to meeting the needs of this unique population. Cambodians have many issues in need of addressing that have risen from language barriers to traumatic memories stemming from the history of their country.
Here at Khmer Health Advocates, we take pride in listening to the stories of Cambodians in order to understand where they are coming from individually and how understanding their past can help them on their path to a better future.
